Here’s a pic of our new “blank canvas” in which we will be assembling our new, more professional looking repeater installation which will go over to the city facility near the big tower.  The rack is a very tight, very heavy duty 7 foot high cabinet with both front and back doors and internal AC distribution.  The rack was graciously donated to the club by Dailey-Wells Communications, one of the City vendors, thanks to Gary Young, WD5DW.

    Repeater Assembly

Here are some more pics of the repeater re-packaging that Robert and Bruce did this afternoon.  All the repeater components (and spare repeaters) are mounted with room to spare for future expansion.  The 2 meter duplexer fit in there like a glove.  The front door goes on, but the back door will need a little modification to go on and close completely.  It’s a really nice, tight installation.  Now to let it cook in for a while until we move it to the other building and tower. The “canvas” has been painted upon!
